Vineyard Visits
Throughout May, visit Albury Vineyard for its welcoming and friendly experience on Saturdays and Sundays - whether you know a lot about wine, or nothing at all. Enjoy a glass of bubbly in their tasting room or on the patio, where they also serve delicious cheese and charcuterie boards. Children, muddy boots and well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

Albury Wine Festival - Summer Spectacular
This year, Albury Wine Festival is a double celebration! Not only are they celebrating their 15th anniversary but they're also showcasing Vineyards of the Surrey Hills. The Albury Wine Festival features tours of the vineyard, access to our new wildlife walk, local artisan food and pop-up wine bar, plus a unique chance to sample wines from all other Surrey Hills Vineyards. Booking is essential as tickets are limited and this event always sells out.

How to taste wine
This brand new experience features an exclusive tasting of five Albury wines. Enjoy an introduction to the English wine scene, and learn how Albury’s sparkling wine is made using the Great British Classic Method. Discover how food affects our perception of taste. Experience some of the main scents of different wines using 'Le Nez du Vin'. Master the art of professional wine-tasting .

Tours and Tastings
Open almost every day of the year, Denbies Wine Estate is the perfect place to explore the magic of English wine - even through the winter months. Take a walk among the dormant vines, book a table in one of their restaurants or join an indoor wine tasting experience where you will learn more about their history and the onsite wine-making process in their winery.

Summer Spectacular festival weekend
One of the largest single estate vineyards in England, Denbies is set to host Summer Spectacular festival weekend events on both the Saturday and the Sunday – all alongside their usual plethora of wining and dining options. You could even book a stay in the Denbies Vineyard Hotel to make a long weekend of it.

Enjoy a leisurely sparkling afternoon tea in the peace and tranquillity of the Vineyard Restaurant at Denbies Wine Estate. Tasting Barn launch
Chilworth Manor Vineyard's beautiful new Tasting Barn is fast heading towards completion and will launch this spring. Watch this space for announcements about the events and experiences planned there. Found on the south-facing slopes below St Martha's Hill, Chilworth Manor is on the North Downs Way between Guildford and Dorking.

Chilworth Wine Festival
On Saturday June 15, Chilworth will be celebrating with Chilworth Wine Festival - a fun afternoon and early evening of great music, delicious street food, ice cream and, of course, their premium quality English sparkling and still rosé wines. The vineyard will be open from 3pm to 8pm, and children and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

NGS Open Gardens
Always a highlight of the Surrey NGS open gardens calendar, Chilworth Manor’s gardens open to visitors on Sunday May 19. The grounds of the 17th century Chilworth Manor create a wonderful tapestry including a jewel of a terraced walled garden, topiary, herbaceous borders, sculptures and more. Pre-booking essential.

Open Day Season
High Clandon’s open day season continues on Monday May 27. The next dates are: Summer Spectacular Open Days, Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16; Summer Exhibition from Sunday June 30 to Sunday July 14; Saturday August 24; Saturday September 21; Saturday October 5 (Harvest). Private tours for groups of at least four people throughout the year.

Battle of Waterloo Taste-off - Summer Spectacular
High Clandon’s Summer Spectacular open days on Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16 preview their ever-popular summer event, Art & Sculptures in the Vineyard, which take place in July. On Saturday June 15, raconteur, wine-buff and TV personality, the inimitable Joe Wadsack, will host their ticketed Battle of Waterloo Taste-off, which features Surrey Hills sparkling wines vs marque Champagne.

Glass Barn Hire
The atmospheric Glass Barn at High Clandon has beautiful views of the garden, wildflower meadow, the Surrey Hills and even the London skyline on a good day. But did you know it’s also available for private hire? It’s the perfect venue for smaller gatherings, such as an intimate wedding, birthday celebration or company gathering. The Glass Barn has room for 70 people cocktail-style or 30-40 seated.

Tasting flight and charcuterie board
Book a Tasting Flight and Charcuterie Board for your visit to Greyfriars Vineyard on select dates. Enjoy a lovely lunch board, featuring a wonderful selection of locally made cheeses and cured meats plus chutney, crackers, pickles and bread. All served alongside a tasting flight of Greyfriars’ prestige wines.

Pasta Making Workshop & Supper Club
Rosie from the Towpath Kitchen will be joining Greyfriars Vineyard to share her expertise in the art of pasta making and you will have the opportunity to make your own fresh pasta. Following a pasta masterclass and wine tasting, guests will sit down to enjoy their freshly prepared bowl of pasta.

Vineyard tours
In the warmer months, Greyfriars Vineyard’s tours head back outdoors to make the most of spring. The vineyard tour with wine tasting takes visitors on a guided walk through the beautiful vineyards finishing with a tutored tasting of several award-winning sparkling and still wines. The tastings normally take place on the vineyard viewing deck.
